BEAUTIFUL ZIRA! DUMPED BACK IN HELL DUE TO ALLERGIES?!? WHAT?!? PLEASE SHARE HER FAR AND WIDE TO SAFETY. LETS SAVE HER BEFORE SHE HITS THAT DREADFUL LIST! A volunteer updates - January 2014: Zira seems very much like the same dog I met close to two months ago at the Manhattan Care Center before she was adopted. She is much more tense, though, probably not processing well all those changes in her life. A home, a kennel, a home, a kennel... She is still the loving girl she was , craving for the lap , the hugs and the kisses of her caretaker.She sits beautifully for treats and she demonstrates the same high energy level and boisterousness that were hers just a little while ago. She pulls on the leash, sits on command, comes when called. Nothing has changed... except that she seems uncomfortable with certain dogs, which she was not at all during her previous stay at the care center. Zira is now back with us. She is a beautiful girl, very hound like, very affectionate and who does not like to be alone. She needs training and taming. Being very treats motivated will help in making Zira and excellent student. She is so worth it and is waiting, hopeful for her new master and teacher. Zira needs you now. Do not make her wait too long...
