Avocado mask to moisturize dry skin Dry skin can become very irritated during winter – think flaking, redness and so on. Add a boost of moisture, by mixing the flesh of an avocado with a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil. Apply to your face and leave for 15-20 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. Give tired skin a lift with a little buttermilk Slough off dead skin cells and revive your complexion by applying some buttermilk to your skin. Take care to avoid the eye area. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water. The lactic acid in the buttermilk will remove dull skin cells while the fat in the buttermilk will moisturize your skin. Balance your skin and protect it from the elements with a banana mask This mask softens, rejuvenates, and restores the natural pH balance of your skin, protecting it from the negative influences of dry winter air.
