BEEN IN SLAVERY IN ONES LAND IS A TRAGEDY:When Nigeria got her independent in 1960,every Nigerians thought its an end to the world of slavery and oppression, our people were happy and celebrating. For those who were there to witness the independent celebration, its like new world entirely, the song of bye bye to the world of slavery rented the air.Though our founding fathers tried a lot to make each and every Nigerians feel the impact of freedom through the government thats no doubt government of the people under the leadership of sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa,Obafemi Awolowo,Nnamdi Azikwe and Sir Ahmadu Bello Sarduna of Sokoto etc, there was no discrimination among Nigerians, their was equity and accountability in their government, even without Oil,they were able to governed the country well. Our present politicians and leaders really learnt a lot from the colonial masters, they emulate nothing from our founding fathers who brought an end to the world of slavery and colony.what the present Nigeria leaders are doing is no different from what the british who invaded our lands to enslave us did.what they are doing is nothing but advance slavery, where you think you are free but under the captive of the leaders. If you are a Nigerian and think you are free, you are definitely getting it wrong, what are those thing that makes you free?.in those days of colonialism,Nigerians dont go to the same market with the british, our children dont attend the same school with their children,we dont attend the same hospitals,we dont live in the same environment, they set limitation to how we can rise etc.My fellow youths, what makes it different from the present attitudes of our leaders towards us,our children dont also attend the same school with their children,we dont shop in the same market,we dont live in the same environment thats why we are vulnerable to all sort of dangers, our hospitals are different from theirs, they left all the public hospitals unequip, their little children dont grow up to know what is meant by UP NEPA etc.Are you still think we are free when unemployment is rocking the children of the commoners while their children are changing jobs from one place to another as of they are changing cloths?,how many of them can allow their daughters or sons to marry from the family thats not up to their statues?.We are in the same world but we are seeing it differently. The time is now to show them we are all Nigerians and no Nigerian is better than the other.Let unite to fight the oppressors today so that our children will not have to blame us tomorrow. We need freedom and in unity we can get it.May God help the youths the truths to know
