***BEGINNER-RATED LOVEBUG CHARMER ALERT!!!*** A VOLUNTEER WRITES: Jake is a special type of cat, one that comes into the shelter every once in a while, like a little puzzle. How, oh how, did this grizzled-looking, middle-aged stray cat end up with a personality of pure gold? Did he really live on the streets on his own for all this time, or was he really someones super-loving house cat who somehow ended up lost and lonely? Like I said, its a real puzzle, because although he looks like he needs a bath, a brushing and a month or so of good, nutritious cat food, he has managed to keep his warm and loving temperament. What a nice guy he is!. Jake even earned points on his behavior assessment - he is a BEGINNER and solicited petting and purred for ACC! Please dont let this wonderful, sweet, and all too special boy be killed tomorrow because he got the shelter cold. JAKE will need to see a vet when busted out of ACC, as their vet notes what sound like old fractures of his METATARSUS, but they do not mention anything further, and JAKE would be a great foster - a house guest that might stay til his furever home came through and be a delight to have around, knowing you had saved his life!!! Or scoop him up for yourself, because JAKE is the sort of cat who is simply purrfect! But you have to save him quickly, because JAKE is due to be killed tomorrow at 12! SAVE JAKE TONIGHT!!!!!
