Has Miagao succumbed to being a second class municipality to Guimbal and San Joaquin that it can’t afford its own add-on programs? What keeps? This is purely bad economics for Miagao when you send the brgy. officials like the secretaries, treasurers, tanods, and other government agencies to other places. You forgot about the people in your own backyard who can benefit a little profit if you just allow these trainings and seminars right in the municipality. Imagine the gains you can generate to every Miagaowanons caterers and their helpers if only you give them the contract to prepare the food and snacks of the participants in your program. Not only them but also the small vendors in the public market who can at least have their capital back when these caterers buy from them meats, cooking oil, onions, tomatoes and other food ingridients? In this “tagkiriwi” times, many of our kasimanwas are suffering from the brunt brought by the scarcity of money especially during these rainy season. You have to look at them from time to time, feel and see what their needs are and perhaps address their problem.
