He is the longest serving legislator from his state. He is also instrumental in formulating the leadership autonomy as against the monopolistic leadership which led him to decamp from his former party to PDP and won election in 2011. As misunderstood by his opposition. Belmat is a simple personality who aimed at repositioning the state in making a future reference of serving his people with leadership of transparency and accountability. History has made it known that those who are in anyway diligent in their deeds, work and life undertakings shall stand in honor, elevation, recognition and rewards of their outstanding performance. Good intention always leads to success. Belmat activities and his devotion to his state and nation earn him a National award as a member of the order of the Niger (MON) IN 2011. He is the only beneficiary of highest national award from his state. From a commissioner to a legislator and eventually to a Governor insha Allah. Our hope and aspiration is to have a good leadership and leadership with sound mindedness and leadership that will enhance people leaving in many ways. The hope, the dream is alive and only Belmat candidature will make a difference comes 2015 insha Allah. Belmat 2015....The rescue Mission!!!
