BEST. DAY. EVER!!!!! LITTLE BONNIE IS BACK !!!!! Shes alive and well and very pleased to see me. Sorry folks, somehow I accidentally deleted this original post but it went something like this... I got a call at midday today from a staff member at Garden Centre/ nursery on Gardeners Rd, Kingsford. 2 lovely lady customers spotted Bonnie hiding behind a large pot. The staff recognized Bonnie from all the posters we had left there. The customers took Bonnie straight to Erskineville vet clinic, while staff called me. My wonderful friend Michelle Seth drove me straight there. With heart racing I rushed into Erskineville vet clinic to see Little Bonnie, who went nuts when she saw me. She has a small open wound under her right front armpit and has lost weight but is otherwise fine. The awesome Dr Tammy Poon- vet at Vet HQ- has cleaned and sutured the wound under GA and we have Bonnie on IV fluids for the night to make sure she is nice and hydrated before coming home tomorrow. The owners Paul & Gabrielle, who are in the USA have been contacted and are obviously ecstatic. Such relief. They had steeled themselves for the worst. They have been incredibly patient & understanding in a truly awful situation, especially over Christmas. The Dogwalker who had Bonnie at the time she ran away and all the other fabulous dog walkers of the eastern suburbs who have helped so tirelessly in this search are all breathing a massive sigh of relief. I have been overwhelmed by the care, concern and love from friends, family and fellow dog lovers from all over Australia. I cant THANK YOU enough, your support kept us going. Special heartfelt thanks to Martha, who drove me all over and went above and beyond to help find Bonnie, Bec for searching day n night, my awesome boss Geoff Golovsky at Vet HQ who kept the faith and kept me believing that she was out there somewhere, to all the concerned people that called through information when they saw the posters and Facebook page, it all added up to us finding her. THANK YOU Little Bonnie for staying strong & brave and coming back to us. We love you so much!!!!! xo belle
