BEST DIPLOMA EVER Undergoing a bone marrow transplant is like finishing three quarters of a marathon. The days that follow continue to be a race--weekly blood tests, daily self-monitoring, tons of medicines to take, not to mention the endless anticipation. When will the race end? I dont know. All I know is that I just have to keep on going. Sure, there are difficulties along the way but these will never stop me from savouring every moment of my life. I admit there are times when I miss my usual on-the-go, multi-tasker, superwoman self. But Ive started to embrace my new normal. I may be limited physically, but my emotional and spiritual strength have become limitless. I realize that this is what matters most. Today, I received my best diploma ever. Im sharing this victory with you, Ramen for Sarah friends! The engraftment analysis showed that I certainly now have a new bone marrow. The old, sick one has been wiped out and replaced. My prayers now are just all about praises and thanksgiving. Thank you, Kuya Gleng Randell Moral, for sharing your bone marrow with me (sana lang talaga hindi ko nakuha yung kulay mo 😆). Thank you everyone for doing this race with me. The finish line may not be in sight but it doesnt matter. Ive never been this genuinely happy ☺️
