BEST IN SHOW. Me and Megan have discussed this at length, as we wanted to choose Best in Show ourselves. There were two very close calls here and we kept jumping between the two, but in the end, the winner was clear. We could have chosen no other. Honey represents many dogs worldwide, and her story touched many hearts in this competition. She is a beautiful dog, and we couldnt think of a worthier winner than Jill, to whom this will mean an awful lot. So Best In Show goes to Honey the rescue Spaniel, who came first in Best Rescue. Honey is owned by Jill Woodward. “This is Honey who represents so many dogs in rescue. We came across her in a place posing as a rescue. She was the most distressed dog Ive ever met. Covered in fleas, bleeding in several places and ancient. We bought her home. She was blind, stone deaf had various lumps and bumps including mammory tumours and her teeth were rotten. She came through 2 operations and we were lucky enough to have her over 2 years. A gentle old lady who was discarded in her old age.”
