BET A LOT OF DJS DIDNT NO THIS!! If you put the same record on two different 1200s and put them both on +2, one will be faster than the other. Moreover, you can conceivably put those same 1200s on +3 and the pitches will match up perfectly. You can move the fader from 1 to 2 on the guage, and the pitch change should be 1% according to the guage, but the actual (real) pitch change may be 1.5% Then you can move the fader up from 2 to 3 and only get a .5% change.
