BEWARE OF FAKE MINISTRIES. Missions work should primarily be about evangelism, discipleship, and if possible, opportunities for church planting. It should focus on winning people to Christ and building them up in their walk in the Lord. It must not always focus on asking for money all the time from whoever reads their posts on FB! Some people are just too obvious in flaunting their money motive. They have been getting pictures with children or people with needs like widows and dirty children, making it appear as if they are really a part of their ministry, but once you verify, it was simply a staged photo with a total stranger taken for their personal motive of getting money from people. What a shame! Shame on those people who misrepresent the work of the ministry. Im getting tired of it. I read and get posts from people victimized by them all the time. Ive rebuked many of them directly. May the Lord deal with them strongly for their deception. My opinion is, not everyone who introduces themselves as a servant of the Lord is really a genuine worker in Gods vineyard. Many of them would be more appropriately called beggars or lazy. What they are doing has nothing to do with Christs work. Its just their monkey business. Be careful not to be fooled by these charlatans. Always verify and get other people or sources to double check or do background check on people before sharing any amount of money. Dont throw the pearls to the pigs. There are genuine and legitimate ministries out there in the field. Take time to do your homework.
