BEWARE OF FORTUNE TELLERS, CHARLATANS, AND FALSE PROPHETS: For there will many who wear masks, “holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power” (2 Timothy 3:5). The Bible say we must avoid these people altogether! Thus, believers must avoid the enticement of fortune tellers and discern the false messengers for Christ because their methods and techniques are not of God. Evidence of this can be seen in Matthew 7:15 which says: “Beware of false prophets which comes to you in sheep clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” This is why Jesus says in Luke 10:2-3 The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. The Lord is proclaiming in Matthew 7:15 and Luke 10:2-3 that many will come in His name to deceive a multitude, but there are others who are His select few that will prophesy, rebuke, preach and teach under His authority, and in His name will lead others to Him!
