It is located in Uganda on Entebbe Road in a small town called Kitala (15 miles from Kampala City) in Wakiso District. I Key job tasks of general manager job description Planning administration Provide leadership and BFT vision by assisting the Board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans. Oversee preparation of an Annual Report summarizing progress on short and long range plans. Research and write discussion papers, analysis documents and proposals as needed to assist BFT in determining and meeting its long and short term goals. HR management Recruitment and contracting of company and project staff; Employee development, and training; Policy development and documentation; Employee relations; Performance management and improvement systems; Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting; Company-wide committee facilitation including planning, production, staff and Board of Directors, including arranging meetings and agendas, attending and minuting meetings; Project management: Developing and managing marketing budgets, and overseeing the development and management of internal operating budgets Directing and overseeing the company marketing function to identify and developing new customers, products and services. Researching and developing strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and net growth areas. Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of products sales, methods, costs and results. Establishing and implementing short-and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures. II Job specification of general manager job description A minimum of Two years of experience in business management, planning and financial oversight. A minimum of five years of experience in personnel management, including hiring, supervision, evaluation and benefits administration. A minimum of three years of experience working with a board of directors and committees. A degree in business Administration / Marketing or equivalent experience. Proven skills in business and financial management. Demonstrated ability to work with volunteers. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
