BFX Festival 2014 Hello everyone - BFX Festival Tickets are now on sale! A great line up which lasts 4 days, and our venue is the Bournemouth International Centre, in the UK. More speakers on the way! Please spread the word! Our confirmed speakers and partners for the Festival include ILM London, Animal Logic, Framestore, Double Negative, Blue Zoo, MPC, Disney, MPC Commercials, Glassworks, Frontier Development, Axis Animation, The Mill, Next Limit, The Chaos Group, AMD and The Foundry. Expected talks will include The Lego Movie, Gravity, Maleficent, Godzilla, Guardians of the Galaxy, Edge of Tomorrow, Elite: Dangerous and many more. We also have a fantastic concept art exhibition that will be on display at the BIC, direct from the vaults of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures – Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent . The BFX Workshops are also back, with Masterclasses by Scott Eaton, Paul Kidby, Sarah Perry (Acting and movement coach - Guardians of The Galaxy, Jupiter Ascending), Eric Shaw (Writer SpongeBob SqaurePants, Disney) and Adam Redford, as well Workshops by Next Limit, Chaos Group and The Foundry. More master classes will be announced soon. Our recruitment fair is back, and it’s going to be even bigger than last years, with recruiters from Animal Logic, Framestore, ILM, Double Negative, MPC, The Mill and Axis Animation all confirmed. Lastly we have a number of family activities in the town centre including children’s animation workshops and public screenings.
