BHW FEATURED HORSE Registered Name: Mr Austin Duncan Ozzie is a big beautiful bay 15.3 h and about 1100 lbs. He is a 1D barrel horse when he decides to rate the first barrel. If you hold him going to the first he is fine, but if you let him run to the first, he may or may not rate. He runs very hard and makes up the time going to the second and third. I had a lameness exam done a year ago by Dr Porter at Performance Horse Doc vet services. At the time he didnt think Ozzie was hurting anywhere since he still runs a 20 second poles without any issues. So I dont know,maybe this is a rider issue or a training issue that someone else could fix. I have had a slipped disc in my back the past year and have been unable to ride. His ground manners are excellent, nothing bothers him.Throw the leadrope over his neck and point at the trailer. He will jump right in. I think he would make a great high school rodeo horse. I might consider a trade for a four wheeler,golf cart, bumper pull horse trailer. Tell me what you have...
