BHm -Dogs No 28 Japanese Spitz (Nihon Supittsu) This is a small to medium breed of dog of the spitz type. The Japanese Spitz is a companion dog and pet. There are varying standards and opinions around the world. They are always larger than their small cousins the Pomeraniun. they were developed in the 1920s and 1930s by breeding a number of other spitz dogs. Most countries recognise this dog for their kennel clubs except America due to it being similar according to the White Pomeranians, America Eskimo dog and Samoyed dog. The Spitz has become popular due to its nature and favourable temper. Sometimes they can be prone to runny eyes and their coats have a non-stick texture similar to teflon
