BIG HERO 6... Ladies, you had your time with Frozen. Now the men get to have this one. Based on the comic book of the same name, we follow 14 year old Hiro, who happens to be a genius inventor and takes it upon himself to upgrade his brothers medical robot into a high-tech hero in an effort to find the man who stole his advanced technology. Theres a bit more to it that that but i dont want to spoil it. First of all, Disney has been on a major role lately and this really does top the pile for me. The loveable Baymax is a sweet, fun and ultimately AWESOME character that is likely to be on many a wish list in the time to come. The film is beautifully animated, written with brilliant pace without forgetting to explore its main characters and full to the brim of excitement and adventure. If they keep this going as franchise then they have to look a bit more at San Fransokyo and explore the those who make up the rest of the team. Its go the action of marvel, the heart of Disney and the humour to fit both. Its the first film ive seen of the year and it could easily stay as the best. Its released on Jan 30th and I will be seeing it again :)
