BIG PROJECT UPDATE. ... The week is over. got a lot accomplished. BIG thanks to my father Jack Randolph and my bandmate Jay Strong for helping out. Roughing in and building a door jamb was no easy task. I had to remove the king studs and move them when my measurements came out too short. Which also included making the opening in the kitchen just a smidgen bigger with the saws-all once again. (man i have a lot of dust to clean up) Thanks to Amy Pierce for the awesome taco salad lunch wednesday. Thanks to Darryl Andrus for helping Jay and i level the jamb. Excellent job goes to Jay for the precise routing of the lock and deadbolt openings. ( I can FINALLY lock my door!!!) Yesterday morning rains that puddled next to the house crested to a top 10 high. But i had spray sealed the concrete blocks the night before. Not a drop of water in the basement!!!!!!!!!!!! Trimmed the door opening and new J_channel. Trimmed the top pieces of siding over the door to fit into it. Put siding up two rows and the deck skirt went on. My father and i worked the rest of the day on the deck. Afterwards a laid top soil next to the house and attached hangers. Jay Strong, we are going to make this look like a real deck tomorrow after i run the water through the stringer and skirt deck boards!!!!!! OH YEAH, Tomorrow night AUDIODRIVE rocks Cherry Valley Festivals days, main stage at 7:30. MAN, I need to have some FUN!!!!!!!! Come out and rock n roll with us!!!
