BILL POSEY COMPLIMENTS CAMPAIGN With your continued support I will be on the November 2014 ballot along with incumbent Bill Posey, each of us looking for your vote to be your Florida District 8 Congressional Representative. Over the next weeks and months you will be hearing a lot from both of us. Our contrasts will be significant with me representing a new generation of action, not inaction and obstructionism beholding to special interests. I will be telling you how if elected, unlike Posey, I will be representing all of the citizens of the 8th District, Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike. I will be telling you how I will protect the Space and Treasure Coasts’ most valuable economic driver – our lagoon, beaches and ocean – in contrast to Posey’s backing of risky off shore drilling. In what I consider a compliment, Posey stated in a recent appeal letter that “This race could very well be the most challenging one we have had…” and that he does not “…take my opposition lightly.” Our campaign’s problem for the time being is that it cannot afford slick multi-page mail appeals like Posey’s that is paid for by special interest money.
