BILLIAT FIRE generating smoke The CFS is responding to a fire at BILLIATT in the Murray Mallee, which is travelling in a SOUTHERLY direction towards GALBRAITH, RIDGEWAY AND LEE ROADS. The public is advised that that the fire is causing smoke to be visible in the BILLIET CONSERVATION PARK area. Additional areas that may be impacted by smoke include Lamaroo, Parilla, Culkam and Karoonda road. Residents in these areas with respiratory or cardiac conditions should remain indoors and ensure that windows and doors are shut. Motorists travelling through these areas are advised that visibility may be reduced due to the smoke present from the fire, and to exercise caution when driving.
