WARNING If you do not comply with these security directions, it may cause to injuries, permanent and temporary loss of hearing, fires or may damage to your device and other furniture. • Wear ear protection while operating the device (Sound pressure level is approximately 120 dB (A) FAST when measured perpendecular to the end of the front barrel at 1 metre’s distance) • When operating the device never stand in front of its front barrel or never look into its front barrel. • Keep the gas cylinder away from sources of heat. Keep the device away from inflammable material (e.g. crops) as a precaution against fire caused by detonation flame. • Never place subjects into its front barrel. • Never cover the device, in mandatory situations place the device in wooden or in an iron sheet in a distance of 50 cm. above and around the device and the coverage. • Do not place the device windward. Turn back the device towards the direction of the wind; otherwise, you produce the sound in lower dB. • Make sure the gas cylinder is full and not empty. • The gas cylinder should be placed upright and do not place it in front of the front barrel. • Do not change the hood of the gas cylinder given with the device. • Never place the gas cylinder in a pit. • Do not hang the device on a tree. • Carry out maintenance regularly. • Never use the device indoors or in a closed space. • Make sure that there is a seal ring in the interval regulator valve. If it is torn out or worn, replace it. • Do not smoke near the device. • Make sure that there is nothing inside its front barrel before operating the device. • Keep the device against the objects producing heat. • Control the device if it blasts regularly after it is set. • Only propane gas may be used. No other types of gas are allowed. • Give the device to the third partices only with the user’s manual and the security recommendations. • Do not use any of the pressure regulator of the gas cylinder but the one given with the device. It is an exclusive use of pressure regulator for Kurtbomsan Birds Scarer Cannons. It does not work with the other devices. If the other pressure regulators are used, it may cause fire, and Kurtbomsan Corp. may not be held responsible for this. • The device and its parts are under two-year warranty.
