(Source: letter No.70). 1919: Deputation of Larkano Khilafat leaders consisting of Seth Khudadad Surahio and Syed Muhammad Shah meet Haji Amir Ali Lahori, the President of Larkano Municipality to get permission for holding fucction to celebrate ‘Khilafat Day’ in Municipal area on 19th of October. Haji Amir Ali Lahori, who is also president of ‘Anjuman Islam’, Larkano, not only refuses to grant permission and ask them to avoid gathering people for anti-British Government purpose.
