BISHOP Senior Care Assistant A Senior Community Care Assistant/Senior Care Assistant/Senior Carer/Senior Homecare Assistant A Senior Care Assistant is urgently needed in domiciliary care sector to support a Care Manager in the Stanhope and surrounding areas.In this role we would expect you to oversee that service users care needs are met to the highest level of service and to ensure the companies standards, policy and procedures are all adhered to.As a senior Care Assistant, you will:This list is not exhaustive:• Assist in the active development, promotion and development of the business • Attend to personal care, domestic, rehabilitation and social needs of service users• Arrange and carry out Care Plan meetings with all new service users• Assist in the varying needs of each Service User, in consultation with the Care Manager, Service User, family, friends and professional bodies such as Social Services, GP’s, District Nurses and others.• Carry out regular spot checks on care staff and follow up supervision• Work in a dedicated area, yet offer flexible coverage of other areas• Support Care Manager to provide sufficient coverage of rota • Assist the care Manger with the on call responsibility, including holding the On-Call phone on a weekly rota• Maintain and complete the relevant paperwork• Liaise with care staff to collate staff availability• Mentor new staff in the field• Attend Supervision meetings to the Care ManagerThe applicant will need:• Care in the community experience• A good knowledge of CQC standards and regulations• A clean driving licenceIn return, we will offer:• Competitive rates of pay• 28 days annual leave• Excellent working environment• Fuel allowance• Free uniform https://jobsearch.direct.gov.uk/GetJob.aspx?JobID=3581916
