BJs Customer Service Fiasco update: The manager of the BJs Oaks, PA store, Tom Bolton took care of the situation with great care and professionalism. He first asked what he could do to make the situation right. He then said our bringing the situation to his attention will create changes in customer service training and operations in the Tire Department. He indicated the young man who didnt offer my wife assistance had only been working at the store for a few weeks and that he would have a talk with him about customer service. He also advised my wife on some other BJs items. Let this be a reminder to anyone who has had a bad experience with a company. If you just walk away and never come back, you do a disservice to yourself and the business. If the business isnt a total failure in customer service, they will try to make the situation right. Sometimes its about new employees or improper training that short circuits the customer service experience. Mr. Bolton didnt offer excuses, he accepted responsiblity and corrected the situation. If only President Obama had the same attitude.
