BLACK DOGS CAN BE HARD TO PLACE...... Sometimes we take in a dog and through no fault of their own, we have a harder time finding them a home. Misty is a great dog! She needs a little extra help finding a home, please pass this on to anyone looking.... Misty is a rottie/lab mix about 4 years old. She weighs about 60 pounds. She has a great disposition, loves to play, and is eager to please. She enjoys going for walks. She would love a home with another dog her size. She plays a bit rough for small dogs. Misty has a Rottweiler personality in that she loves her sleep and her food, as well! She doesnt chew up stuff, and is house trained. She LOVES children. She would make a great addition to any happy home. She lets me know when its dinner time and barks the whole time Im scooping out her kibble, which is quite comical. She likes to be chased, and when shes playful she hops around like a kangaroo, its pretty funny. She will get in water up to her chest and jump around in it, but doesnt swim really. She likes to hike and does well on a leash, unless she is in a pet store where she will drag me to the treat aisle every time and try to take things off the shelf. I usually let her pick something out after adoption events. Her adoption fee $50. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
