BLACK MONEY NUISANCE (Extracted from seminar paper on above presented in Post Graduation, Ravenshaw College( now university) in 1988) Actually, the alleys and labyrinths of wealth that is illegally acquired, hidden and unaccounted for are becoming darker month by month. Black money and the parallel economy, unfortunately, accepted as a normal fact of life and its use for both legitimate and illegitimate purposes have assumed gargantuan proportion in the Indian economy. It has grown to enormous dimensions and permeated every section of society and every sector of the economy. It is so pervasive that many politicians, especially, ministers, businesspersons, industrialists, executives and clerk at various levels are involved in black money operations. The dark shadows of this rapidly growing menace looms so large that it threatens to overshadow and even destroy much health growth, unless it is cut to seize by determined national effort.
