BLACK PEOPLE (A reality check) It has become clear to me that most people today will never get it until the shoe is placed on their feet. We watch our youth getting gunned down on a daily basis, by our own people as well as the police. But we speak more about HOW BLESSED WE ARE than anyone else. In the past week. I have watch at least four videos of black women, young girls getting beat down like men, by men. I mean brutally, with their fists. Beating them and kicking them while others stand around and watch. Shes screaming, crying, helpless. THE BLACK WOMAN, the woman who gave birth to humanity...treated this way. And the very next day I see countless posts of our people talking about how BLESSED THEY ARE. This is a separatist mindset. We dont acknowledge the interrelationship of us as a unit, since nothing horrific has happened to your son or daughter. And you want to pretend it cant happen to your child. I dont know how many of you have witnessed someones child laying on the pavement with their brains splattered out beside them. Just laying there limp and lifeless. People staring, hoping he eventually moves. Straining their eyes to see his body rise and fall for evidence of life. It hurts, especially when unjustified and unnecessary. I have witnessed things that filled me with so much immediate hurt and anger, I wouldnt dare say on Facebook the urges I had, the blood in my eyes. Or how many of you have witnessed the police beating on a black man until he stops moving, then beat him some more. Ive witnessed it while locked behind a steel door, unable to do anything except yell, rattle the door, and cry inside. Ive tasted their gas on several occasions, felt their sticks and torturing restraints. I have looked in their eyes and witnessed the hatred they have for us, and the pleasure they get out of harming us. They have no mercy for us. I am speaking about the racist, powerful ones. I prayed, I begged God to put it in their hearts to treat us better so we can return to our family and kids in the right mind. But nothing changed. Nothing ever changes, unless you do something. I often wonder how many of us would continue forcing ourselves to believe were blessed if it happened to your child. God gave us every tool we need to remedy any situation. The ultimate power of God is all of humanity working in concert. Some of his power can be activated when one race works in concert. I dont feel blessed when I know the police, other races, and even my own people feel the same way about my son and daughters as they do about the sons and daughters they murder every single day of the week. EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK. I BELIEVE IN GOD, let me just put that out there. However, I dont believe in the version of God that white America taught us. If I believed in the God and religion that white America taught us during slavery, I would be forced to accept a cold, hard fact. GOD DOES NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE, but I know better than that. It is not God who does not like us, IT IS US WHO DONT LIKE US, because if we did, we would unite and look out for one another. We would fix our problem. History makes it crystal clear that the past four centuries mainly, have not been good for us. We are worse today then we have ever been in the history of the planet, collectively speaking. The handful of wealthy people dont count when a race is not united because their wealth will not affect the poverty stricken. ONE OF THE BIGGEST CHANGES THAT TOOK PLACE WITH US when we began a horrible turn for the worst was THE WAY WE BELIEVED AND WORSHIPPED GOD. WE CAN FIX US. There have been many people to suffer calamity. The Japanese, Chinese, the Jews... Each one of these races fixed themselves. They united, pooled their intellectual and financial resources, and fixed themselves. They didnt put it in the hands of God, because they knew GOD HAD PUT IT IN THEIR HANDS. They didnt turn to foreigners, in fact, they, in some cases, banned foreigners from their country for awhile so they could concentrate on and fix themselves. After they fixed their problems on their own, they opened their arms back up to foreigners...FROM A POSITION OF POWER. So I do believe in GOD, but I understand GOD is no punk, and hes not sitting around giving handouts or ready to dash in and save the day. THAT HAS NEVER BEEN DONE. You heard me correct. IT HAS NEVER BEEN DONE. In religion there are stories where it has been done, but historically it has never been done. Think about that. YOUR CHILDREN ARE NOT SAFE IN THIS COUNTRY. You can go to YouTube right now and pull up an endless string of police shootings and brutality of young black males, females, and even our elderly. And tomorrow it can be you crying over YOUR child. All this to say, please start wrapping you mind around the idea of helping to fix us. Figure out your role, no matter how big or small it may be. Do SOMETHING. Really, you childs life may depend on it. When they catch us, it does not matter if we have a degree, it definitely doesnt matter if youre a Christian, all that matters is youre black. So lets worship God and use what he gave us. Muhjahid Qahhar
