BLACK STARS OF GHANA FINALLY ARRIVES IN GUINEA The Black Stars of Ghana have finally arrived in Equatorial Guinea for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations. The team arrived in the Central African country at exactly 23:25 GMT on Wednesday night. 23 players together with officials were drove to Mongomo where the team will be based throughout their group campaign. Coach Avram Grant’s side had been camping in Spain for the past two- three weeks ahead of their crucial hurdle in Equatorial Guinea. The team is however expected to have their first training session this evening as they prepare for their opening group game against Senegal on January 19 at the Estadio Santiago Nguema Eneme in Mongomo. Ghana has been drawn in Group C along with Senegal, South Africa and Algeria. The Black Stars are chasing their fifth African silverware having won the tournament on four occasions. Head coach Avram Grant will also be hoping to impress in his first major assignment since his appointment in last year December.
