BLACKSMITH CHRONICLES: ORIGIN OF THE DUEL PART 9 Suddenly an ectoplasm monitor appeared in front of me. “Could be this more hallucinations?” I queried myself; meanwhile Serpentes was confronted with a White rabbit in strange gadget attire. “A dead man’s dream” I thought further, trying to come to terms with my current visions and impulsively, a stream of images appeared on the ectoplasm wall. The other rabbit which was black looked me in the eye and we connected in thoughts. “Look deeper into the ecto-monitor, Blacksmith and you will see what the gods are showing you” The Black rabbit connected to my thoughts and I heard his thoughts, this was telepathy at play. Suddenly the images began to appear clearly to me, I then got a glimpse of two deities conversing at a three way junction. The first deity was Ogun the god of Iron while the second was Esu the trickster. At this time Ophidius was barred by the white rabbit which appeared to be female, from moving close to me. “Hahahahahahahahaha! What sort of Obeah is this, Segzy? You summoned Duracel bunnies to protect you from the Serpent’s deathblow” The white rabbit acted in a manner signifying attentiveness to Ophidey’s ranting. “Make one move and I will nail you to the earth like a spear through a python” The white rabbit’s words rang in my head. I could hear the white rabbit’s thought too, she was ready to engage Serpentes in combat. Meanwhile Serpentes pointed his pistol at the white rabbit, ready to bust a shot. “Oh! They are organic. I have always loved rabbit stew” Serpentes said as he squeezed the trigger slowly... To be continued.
