BLD-Cebu District In Celebrating its 25th Founding Anniversary Kicks off its Year-long Anniversary Celebration With a Tribute to Blessed Pope John Paul II And in Preparation for his Canonization on April 27, 2014 with the Launching and Opening of Temporary Shrine of Blessed Pope John Paul II Saturday, March 8, 2014 Objectives: 1. Create awareness among BLD members and the community of BLD-Cebu’s 25 years of existence and Thanksgiving Mass Celebration of its milestones with a grand salvo Family Day with the Community; 2. Pay tribute, pray for intercession to Blessed Pope John Paul II and create community awareness of his April 27 canonization with the opening of a Chapel-Shrine (temporarily at Carmelite Church but later at the IT-Park); 3. Create awareness and spark interest among community members of the succeeding programs of BLD 25th Anniversary Celebration as well as the Canonization of Blessed PJP II. Main Activities: 1. Fr.
