BLESSED AND CURSED!! PART 10 Days passed and i had settled in well at the shop. I had frequent visitors every night,Masha and Asmath. I was over Jabu,although i still felt he owed me. He owed me my life,i would still be with my family if not for him. One day at the shop,Jabu came. I felt my stomach tie up in knots. I was sweating. He looked at me with terrifying eyes,i wondered what he wanted. I was sure i was going to faint. Asmath: my friend,can we help you? Jabu: yes Asmath: you want to buy what my friend? Jabu: just shut up,i want you! He was pointing at me,i couldnt speak! He came around the counter and grabbed my hand. Me: let go of me! Jabu: dont bore me please. Dont make me vomit! Me: i dont want to!i am not going with you. I wanted to go,but my pride wouldnt let me. Asmath was becoming very restless. Jabu hit me again. Asmath tried to help but he was beaten too! It was not a good sight. Asmath had called the police. They arrived when i hit Jabu on the head with a brick we used to block the door from closing itself. He died instantly. I felt good for killing him. I felt relieved. I couldnt help but feel sad for my family,for my mom who was robbed of a chance to raise her own kid. I ruined my future for a man who thought he owned me. I couldnt notice because i was obsessed with him. Prison life aint good for anybody,you sit all day youll feel the walls closing in on you. Youll miss walking the streets,youll miss everythng! As i am getting parole next week for good behaviour,i plan to be a better person.
