BLESSING OR CURSING PART 2 Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: CHRIST NOT ONLY PAID FOR OUR SALVATION AT CALVARY, BUT FOR EVERYTHING THAT TOUCHES OUR LIVES! ONE OF THE NAMES OF GOD….. JEHOVAH JAIRA = MY PROVIDER This Book, from Genesis to Revelation is all about HIM! The fact that Christ came to earth to be the ultimate sacrifice was planned before Time began! Every Book in the Bible points to Calvary! Once we receive Christ as our Savior, we have access to everything Jesus Has! We are heirs of God, and Joint-heirs with Jesus. When we received Christ, and put FAITH in HIM and what HE did at Calvary, we became SONS & DAUGHTERS OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, we became heirs of GOD, and JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST. Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christs, then are ye Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise. Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. NOW WE WILL SUFFER PERSECUTION BECAUSE OF CHRIST. There is no name more hated than Jesus. And with this persecution, we will glory in the CROSS. BUT ; THE PROMISES OF GOD ARE YES AND AMEN. 2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. JESUS FULFILLED ALL OF THE LAW! Now, everything rests totally, completely on CHRIST, and the CROSS. JESUS provided EVERYTHING for us through HIS finished work at Calvary. John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. WHEN HE CRIED; “IT IS FINISHED” – THE VEIL RIPPED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, AND WE NOW HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF COMING DIRECTLY INTO THE PRESENCE OF ALMIGHTY GOD! #2] WE HAVE THE PROMISE OF DIVINE HEALING Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Ok Let’s Take a look at this verse… Not only did he suffer for our Salvation, but also for our “Peace” (emotional needs) And then with His Stripes or wounds, he suffered for our HEALING. God loved us enough, that HE paid the price for our Healing, both physical and emotional healing. There are 3 things standing in the way many times; • FEAR – fear of the unknown, e.g. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost • FAITH – It is much more difficult to believe for ourselves, than for others (That’s why we need to come together as God’s family, and pray for and lift up one another. • LACK OF KNOWLEDGE If we don’t know what God has to say about us, how can we know what he has laid up for us. HE PAID FOR OUR HEALING! Too many times we are looking at Circumstances and Experience so much that we don’t have faith in what God said. Once again, we are pulled into doubt by the enemy of our souls. YES, AS LONG AS WE ARE IN THESE MORTAL BODIES, WE ARE SUBJECT TO PAIN AND SUFFERING. BUT; IF WE COULD EVER GET IT THROUGH OUR HEADS, THE POWER THAT COMES THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST, AND WHAT HE PAID FOR, WE WOULD BE LIVING IN THAT ABUNDANT LIFE THAT JESUS TALKED ABOUT! Going back to Deuteronomy, Chapter 28; Deu 28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and OVERTAKE THEE, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Now, do we believe the God who said it? Or the Enemy of our soul? We are in a battle constantly if we don’t place our FAITH where it belongs. Remember, JESUS ALREADY WON THE WAR! These are things God wants for you! Once again, we have to remind ourselves that it’s not about us, it’s all about HIM! We don’t “deserve” anything. We have NO righteousness, it’s HIS righteousness placed upon us, that makes us Holy before God. #3} DIVINE PROVISION/PROSPERITY Deu 28:3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. >>This all has to do with seed-time-harvest Mal 3:8-10 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. HARVEST – you have to plant the seed to have a harvest… If we don’t bring it to God we can’t expect a harvest. If all we bring to God is His Tithe, we can’t expect a Great Harvest… Our needs will be met, but we won’t be able to bless others. MORE SEED PLANTED, MORE HARVEST GIVEN. THE WHOLE POINT OF THE DIVINE PROSPERITY IS SO WE CAN BLESS OTHERS. #4] FAMILY HERITAGE DIVINE INTERVENTION [MY TESTIMONY] Deu 28:4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Mat 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. ALL OF THESE THINGS COME FROM A LOVING AND A MIGHTY GOD! There are so many other things provided for us through CHRIST. Most of us don’t live the life that God intended for us to live. • Often, too many of us carry baggage we were never meant to carry. Baggage from our past. THE TRUTH IS, A CHRISTIAN HAS NO PAST. ~Once we receive Christ as our Savior, our Sins are under the Blood, and we are a new Creation in Christ Jesus~ • THE BIBLE SAYS THAT SATAN IS THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN – It is he, that comes up with our past mistakes/sins, to bring condemnation. So why is it that most of the accusations come from “other Christians?” It was the Religious leaders of the day, that persecuted Christ! >>AS CHRISTIANS, WE WILL CERTAINLY FAIL TIME, AFTER TIME. When We Start Pointing A Finger At Others, We’ve Got 3 Others Pointing Back At Us! There is one more thing standing in the way of our receiving what God has for us • UN-FORGIVENESS #1- We’ve got to forgive others, if we want Christ in our life! #2 – We’ve got to forgive ourselves WE’RE GOING TO MAKE MISTAKES. WE’RE GOING TO FAIL, BUT THE PURPOSE OF THE PAIN IS NEVER TO GO THERE AGAIN. >>UN-FORGIVENESS WILL MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT TO WORK IN OUR LIVES Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. • IGNORE AND SHAKE OFF OFFENCES The purpose of the offense is to see to it that we don’t get too close to that person. >>Forgiveness doesn’t mean we must make them a part of our lives, it just means that we get ourselves right before God. WE’RE GOING TO HAVE TO DRAW A CIRCLE AROUND OUR LIFE, OUR FAMILY AND DETERMINE WHO CAN BE THAT CLOSE TO US. >>If we let bitterness take over, it will destroy us! And it probably won’t even bother them Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; • BEING HURT BY THE ONES YOU TRUST HURTS MOST. AND THE HARDEST TO OVERCOME. Just remember that none of us are perfect. There was only one who was absolutely perfect in word and in deed, and that was Christ. >>YOUR LOVED ONES WILL FAIL YOU, YOUR PASTOR WILL FAIL YOU, YOUR CHURCH WILL FAIL YOU, AND EVEN YOUR DENOMINATION WILL FAIL YOU. That’s why we’re given a Savior who is our advocate with the Father. 1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO US IN SPITE OF OURSELVES… WHAT IS HOLDING US BACK FROM RECEIVING EVERYTHING HE HAS FOR US??
