BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE 2 Corinthians 12:7 – “Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.” Is any weakness holding you down? Is any weakness disturbing you from serving God? Is it affecting your joy, peace, or stopping you from praying? What we see as a disadvantage in our life can be turned into an advantage. That was true of Apostle Paul. A thorn in his flesh became an opportunity for Gods strength to be seen in his weakness. That weakness could be sickness or a certain bad habit. The weakness came from the pit of hell but because of his relationship with God, the weakness was turned into an object of God – it moved him closer to God. Mistakes are blessings in disguise for true Christians because it makes them to see the need for God the more. Out of unrighteousness , righteousness comes. It’s unrighteous to lie against your sister or brother. Later, you say, “Why all this?” It would make you to never lie again. This shows that out of unrighteousness, righteousness comes. You build it out of this. Therefore, when you make mistakes, as we all do, don’t run from God, run to Him. The moment you do so, your mistakes have become blessings in disguise. PRAYER: “Lord, thank You for all the way long, You have intervened in my affairs”.
