BLUE LIGHT WEEK 2015 THANK YOU FOR TOUR SUPPORT OF OUR FALLEN FAMILY IN BLUE! These photos were sent to me by private message from citizens in Scott County who have turned their porch light blue for a show of support this week! Send me your photos so I can share them as well! **************** Citizens around the nation have been rallying to show their support of law enforcement officers. This coming week, there is an opportunity for others to show solidarity without marching and protesting. A Facebook event is encouraging supports to replace a porch light with a blue light bulb for 1 week. The color blue is symbolic of Peace. This action will symbolize support for all police officers that have fallen in the line of duty. The event is scheduled to take place January 1 - 7, 2015.
