BLUE SKY BLACK SHEEP is looking for a coder/web developer to work with our graphic designer on implementing a super-gorgeous unique online content platform. Ideally, we’d like somebody located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The look and feel of the site is already set, we have mockups: we want to implement the design we have smoothly and crisply and in a way that’ll allow us to add content from the back end reliably in the future. Blue Sky is a particular kind of company. We like working things out in intimate conversation, and we like to be pretty open and relaxed about things. We believe in feeling our way into a project, and being creative. We don’t rush and we’re not overly rigid, and we think feelings about a project should be communicated honestly, from a genuine place, so everybody involved can feel like they’re building something real together. Often, people that work or freelance with us remain in our community or become our friends. The project is focused around telling the story of peoples’ creative journeys— what lights people up, and how their gifts get expressed, from the seed of childhood playtime on through our interviewees’ current fascinating creative careers.
