BLUE WAHOOS CHEF CHRIS FEAST MODE VOORHEES SHARES THIS SUPER BOWL RECIPE WITH YOU! Hey Blue Wahoos Fans! Did you know that Blue Wahoos Executive Chef Chris Voorhees has ties to Seattle? Chef Chris lived in Seattle where he honed his culinary expertise at the Crowne Royal in Downtown Seattle, and has been following the Seahawks ever since. To honor the NFC Champion Seahawks and prepare for next weekends Super Bowl, Chef Chris has come up with this delicious recipe for Super Spicy Sausage Stuffed Turkey Wings for your Super Bowl parties. Check out this recipe: Super Spicy Sausage Stuffed Turkey Wings 6 each Turkey Wings 12 ounces Spicy Italian Sausage, Bulk 3 ounces Blue Cheese Hot Sauce (See Recipe) For the Blue Cheese Hot Sauce: 4 ounces Crystal Hot Sauce 1 ounce Clover Honey 1 ounce Sweet Chili Sauce 1 each Jalapeno, Seeded 1 cup Cilantro, Fresh 2 ounces Blue Cheese Crumbles Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Preparation: Debone the wings using a boning knife. The easiest way to go about this is to work toward the tip of the wing with the dull side of the blade pushing the meat down around the bones. It is important to make sure that the skin is free from holes and that you have a nice sealed cavity when you are finished. Make sure to leave the wing tip intact. Stuff each cavity with 2 ounces of the spicy Italian sausage. Fry the wings at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Toss wings in the blue cheese hot sauce. Garnish with blue cheese crumbles and several sprigs of cilantro. **Sharing is optional.** Send over your pictures once youve made this recipe, and enjoy! WAHOO!!
