BOB, THE TRADE-ANALYST IS HERE TO ANALYSE THE BOX-OFFICE PERFORMANCES FOR: #JARA_RODDURE_BHIJECHILO & #ARANYER_ITIKOTHA! 1) Jara Roddure Bhijechilo - Instead of sunshine, this Bhargonath Bhattacharya film has sunk into complete darkness at the BO! The film has ended its run after just 3-weeks in Kolkata; even though its still running in 1 UFO hall in the State. With hardly much promotions, the film was never expected to make any mark at the BO. But creditably the film hung on at a quite a few centres in the 2nd week, even when bigger simultaneous releases bit the dust. But all that proved too little as it could only hold at Star (Hatibagan) last week; from where too it has been removed now. However good a film might be, poor promotions will never help... :( BOBs PREDICTION: DISASTER BOBs VERDICT: DISASTER 2) Aranyer Itikotha - This Anagh Ranjan Pashi direcotrial has also ended its run after 3-weeks across the State. Riding in the same boat as #JRB, this film also never stood any chance. But unlike that film, this one got wiped away from almost all direct centres in the 2nd week. With the removal from the shifted centres Padmashree (Jadavpur) and Indira (Bhawanipore), its time is now up. Inspite of dealing with a noble cause, it couldnt generate any impact on the BO...
