Hwy 1 from hwy 40 to Banff Gates – closure due to Cougar Creek and mud slides at Lac Des Arcs 5. Hwy 758 through Bragg Creek (note: road is gone) 6. Powderface Trail – gravel road 7. Hwy 40 to Smith Dorian 8. Hwy 549 west 9. Hwy 66 – south west of Bragg Creek (bridge falling into river) 10. Bridge file 72292 – local bridge over Elbow River just past Bragg Creek Village – going to west Bragg Creek – abutments washing out 11. Hwy 547 – south of Gleichen (between 901 and 24 at Arrowwood) 12. Fallen Timer, Portier and other roads to recreation areas in the Kananaskis region are impassible 13. Forestry Road 14. Crowfoot Ferry – a dozer is attached to the ferry and is moving it as the water rises 2. Hwy 22 at Hwy 8 traffic circle badly flooded – not closed , water is receding 3. Hwy 2A at campground / bridge in High River – much of town is being evacuated 4. Highway 22 Highway 8 to Highway 1 – one lane only is open to alternating traffic 5. Crews are working to install a culvert on 1A which would allow access to the Exshaw area. Efforts have been delayed, however, due to continuing rising water levels. Updates will be released as the situation progresses. Road Closures Lethbridge Area 1. Hwy 3 by the CNP lake both lanes clear 2. Hwy 520 closed 9 km west of Claresholm due to water on road 3. Hwy 2 one southbound lane open. One southbound lane closed. 5 km north of Hwy 3 junction 4. Hwy 811 closed. 5 km north of Fort Macleod 5. Finnegan Ferry has been closed and will remain closed until further notice.
