BOLD & BEAUTIFUL - KADHAVEEDU Whoever can forget the legendary writers of Malayalam and Their close to real life stories.It is a pleasure to see their stories are being well adapted in a single film and has given a magical touch to it, Yes, that is ‘Sohanlal’s KADHAVEEDU for you! The film is romantic, melodious and has a poetic feeling it .Right from the very beginning the movie gives us a very refreshing feeling, starting from the title cards presentation of the film. The Characters are being introduced in a simple and different way in those title presentations. The stories are narrated in a different way which is quiet a new experience for the Malayalam audience .The Stories are told from the perspective of a film student/director named Raj Karthi (Kunchacko Boban) who is in a relationship with a TV news reader Jeena (Bhama) . Rajkarthi is a Passionate film lover and he is always thinking about cinema only at the current moment, which developed some sort of distance between Raj Karthi and Jeena even thought they can’t be live a life without each other . The feelings of love, affection, breakups etc are show very brilliantly In the stories The first story takes us to 50 years back time and where we can see the love proposal of Qadir (Manoj K Jayan) to Jameela ( Mallika) and finally acceptance of love and romance all emotional were brilliantly portrayed. The innocence of the characters are the main highlight of this story .The climax was awesome and an eye opener to the society. Director succeed in conveying the fact true love never gets old. The second story is the reflection of the modern society and Lal as Major Federick Mukundhan and Rithuparna Sengupta as Reetha are the main protagonists of the film along with Kunchacko Boban. Who is also playing an important role .The Story is very touching and haunting and we can also see the dark sides of love. In the final story Biju Menon as Balachandran , a middle class family man who lost his wife and trying to cop up with his wifes sudden and unexpected death and he has no idea about how to convey this to his three young sons .The story is intense , emotional and touching. Overall, KADHAVEEDU is a serious and romance at different walks of life. At the acting department , All are performed very well Kunchacko Boban again comes with his natural and matured acting, it is happy to see his acting how effortless he is ! Bhama too done her role pretty well .Manoj K Jayan and Mallika looked nice as couple and acted brilliantly .No need to mention about Lals and Biju Menon’s acting they are effortless and flawless . Kalabhavan Shajon as Kunchacko Bobans friend excelled. It is worth noting that rain plays an important role throughout the film. Coming to technical side, Direction Needs Special mention, it was perfect. We Can See flashes of brilliance throughout the scenes. Cinematography & Casting were good. And we Movie Seeks team, addicted to all songs in the film especially “Kaattile Poomanam”. It is refreshing and romantic. Final words, If you are a Serious Film goer, go for it. You won’t be Disappointed, If you are a fan of Masala Mix & Commercial Gimmicks, its not Your Cup of Tea.
