BOLDNESS IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT During judgment day God commands His people to share truth openly. 1 John 4 verse 17 declares Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world. Boldness (Strongs # 3954) is several times translated openly. Very significantly it is found in John 18 verse 20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world, I even taught in the synagogue and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort and in secret have I said nothing. This fits perfectly with the Bibles teaching that we are to proclaim judgment day truth openly to the nations. There is an incorrect teaching going around that Gods people are only to feed sheep. Sadly, this teaching even outlines methods to determine who is likely among the sheep and who is not. Frankly, who the saved are is Gods business and not ours. In the days before judgment day we openly warned the world. Now in the day of judgment we are to openly declare and publish that Gods judgment has come and the door to Heaven is closed. In doing so our love is perfected through obedience to the command of Revelation 10 verse 10 And He said unto me, thou must prophesy again before many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.
