He was reported to be conscious but complaining of shortness of breath and chest pains. Ambulance officers have taken the boy to hospital. Police say the lightning strike occurred on McEwin Ave — the same street where a falling tree brought down powerlines this morning. A storm front with pockets of heavy rain has swept across Adelaide in the past few hours.
