BONUS HIT #2 (SEPTEMBER 20, 1968)/BIGGEST TOP 40 MOVER: Earlier in September, Apple Records released the debut two-sided single by their start act who had jumped from Capitol Records -- anyone remember the Beatles??!! Well that John Lennon got radical in his views of the world and sparked some talk with the B side of the single, a thing called Revolution. Still one of the amazingly great songs the Fab Four did, it blasted up 26 notches from No. 38 to No. 12 on this day 46 years ago ... AND STOPPED THERE BELIEVE IT OR NOT!!! But dont worry, the other side of this single did quite well for itself.
