BOOK CLUB :: Thank you all for the wonderful response to the book club idea!! Im so excited for this and hope you can all try to find a bit of time to play along. So without further ado.... lets get started :D Im going to make an Event (under the Events tab at the top of the page) for when the meet is going to be. Lets start with approx. 1 week to get the book, and 1 month to read (this is what usual book clubs do). I will do a check to see how everyone is going half way through to see if we need more time :) We will go through all genres, but we will keep one book for everyone to read. It is totally up to you whether you join us for a particular month or not - dont feel bad if you cant! But if you do... give the book a chance so we can have a great discussion even if it might not be your thing (it would be disappointing if we got to your favourite genre but no one gave that a go ;) Our first book is going to be Graceling by Kristin Cashore. This book has a 4.10 rating with over 207,000 votes on Good Reads, and has 12 literary awards. Cant afford it? Its been out for quite a few years now so check your local library! If you read quickly, make some notes or look for some reviews so you can join in the discussion.
