BOSS as a concept, mentality and dance company, has evolved alot over the years. What first started as a group of 6 girls in Ottawa many years ago became a full launch in 2012 in Toronto right before I got injured. Teaching, choreographing the Beatdown 2012 set and directing while on crutches was not easy but I had such an amazing group to work with who were incredibly supportive and understanding. The company took a 6 month break after my knee surgery, and slowly started to build again a few months ago once I had been cleared to dance. It has been a long journey with bumps on the road but I am so grateful to every single girl who has ever been a part of this vision and who trusted me - especially to the ones who were part of the company when I was injured and struggling to keep BOSS going. I have learned so much over the years and continue to aspire to be the best that I can be in order to give back as much as possible and lead in the right direction. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Today marks the beginning of a new chapter where the fundamental goals, aspirations and work ethic are stronger than ever.
