Martin Luther King, Jr. The 4 Mile March is promoted by the Coalition Against Police Violence (CAPV). The mission of the 4 Mile March is two-fold: to bring awareness to Americas epidemic of racial profiling and police brutality, and to honor all those who have been injured or died as a result of police violence. We ask that everyone in the march and/or die-in wears the name of a victim who died at the hands of law enforcement and that each march starts with a 4 or 4.5 minute die-in.
