BOYHOOD :: i finally got to see this movie. did you see it? any parent should see it, or if you plan on becoming a parent one day. although i found it a bit long, a bit mundane; it was so profound and so very real at the same time. the acting was spectacular! what i sit back with that is the most important as a parent is your connection with your kid(s). to be real with them. to show that as a parent were not perfect, we havent figured it all out, but we try the best we can. to talk to them. to ask questions, to listen, spend time with them and to play, but also share whats going on with you. both of the parents in this story were real and honest and did an amazing job in their roles as parents even though it was and they were messed up at times. i also sit back thinking; life is often mundane, but yet so interesting and profound. right? i dont want to spoil it for you, but its a movie worth watching. youtube/watch?v=Ys-mbHXyWX4
