BRANDON UPDATE……….!!!!!!!! It has been a very hectic week for Brandon, Annette and myself. Brandon spent this week working hard on his daily physio program and pushing the limits as he always does. We received some exciting report back from Alfie and Dr Lin. Alfie is totally amazed at how far Brandons hands, fingers and arms have recovered. Brandons hand and finger strengths has improve considerably. He managed to press down a single hand spring press, which he could not even move strength wise 3 months ago. Dr Lin senior has been away in Taiwan since February and returned home last week. He worked with Brandon this morning and is doing some new acupuncture techniques on Brandon. He was amazed and excited when he tested Brandons Ab & core muscles this morning and confirmed that they have returned and getting stronger. Dr Lin, a man of very little words, spoke with Brandon and explained how his abs & core are getting stronger and how Brandon can work on making them stronger while he is walking in his new EKSO Bionics walking suit. Dr Lin believes that this is going to be a very good rehabilitation for Brandons legs, as it works on muscle memory and with repetitive walking every day, he believes that the nerve pathways will reconnect and even start re-routing the messages to the right places. The EKSO suit was delivered to our house yesterday afternoon by our clearing agent Sabila. We are now set for Monday, a new start to a new era in Brandons road to recovery and hopefully plenty of other patients as well.
