BREAKING: According to the NY Times, the Senate has reached a tentative deal on student loan rates. Rates would be tied to 10-year Treasury Bonds (with added percentage points depending on the type of loan), while caps of 8.25% and 9.25% (undergraduate and graduate, respectively) will be imposed.
