Pray for this to be a positive development. For years they were only interested in us releasing Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, a female Pakistani scientist, that was working on building a chem-bio weapon for Al-Qaeda, when she was captured following a firefight with US Forces. Siddiqui is now out of GTMO, and in a federal US prison. The Taliban opened an embassy in Qatar, and previous negotiations have been deadlocked. Now that were seen leaving Afghanistan, the Taliban and Haqqani Terror Network; may see this as a final opportunity to work out a deal.
