***BREAKING NEWS*** A friend in need is a friend indeed!!!! About four weeks ago, Barr. Nurudeen Asunogie,do you remember him? One time MSSN National President 2005 - 2008 and the current Vice President National Dawah Coordination Council. He was attacked by armed robbers at his residence in Benin, Edo state He was shot by the armed robbers in the leg which not only broke the leg but left him with a very serious injury. He has been admitted in the University of Benin teaching Hospital since then. The National Executive council of MSSN paid him an official visit to ascertain his condition on 17th Dhul hijjah I.e 12th of October 2014 and what we met him in a shocking and precarious condition. The medical attention was nothing to write home about and a dangerous politics is been played which puts his life on the line. Having critically analysed his condition at the hospital and coupled with the epileptic services of the Nigerian medical association which has always shot down hospitals due to unpredictable incessant strike by NMA, we felt if we dont want to loose this esteemed dawah worker and servant of Allah and in the least if we dont want him to loose one of his legs, there is the urgent need to fly him out of the country for better medical care. We want to use this forum to solicit for moral and financial assistance towards the actualisation of this task. May Allah assist us as we come to the rescue of this illustrious Muslim brother who have done a great service to Al-Islam in this country and beyond.
